Your entry into this photo contest is subject to the Contest Rules, the following Terms & Conditions, and any other terms, conditions or guidelines set out elsewhere in this site, as it may be updated from time to time, as well as all applicable laws, rules, statutes, ordinances, and/or regulations (“Applicable Laws”), including but not limited to any and all laws regarding intellectual property, trademarks, copyrights, rights of privacy and publicity, pornography, and defamation. By entering this contest, you accept and agree to be bound by the Contest Rules and these Terms & Conditions:

Entries that are digitally enhanced, manipulated or a composite of multiple images must be derived from the entrant’s original photos for which the entrant is the copyright holder. Images that are judged to be primarily computer illustrations rather than photo-based work will be disqualified. Ritz Camera Centers, Inc. is not required to provide an explanation for the rejection of a photo.

All entrants, by submission of photos to the contest, are deemed to have represented, warranted, and covenanted that their entries comply with any and all Applicable Laws, including without limitation United States and international copyright laws and all laws respecting intellectual property. A signed statement from the entrant averring that the entry complies with all Applicable Laws will be required before any prizes can be awarded. ENTRANTS AGREE TO INDEMNIFY, DEFEND, SAVE AND HOLD HARMLESS RITZ CAMERA CENTERS, INC., ITS PARENTS, AFFILIATES, SUBSIDIARIES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, AGENTS, AND EMPLOYEES, FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, DAMAGES, JUDGMENTS, LIABILITIES, FINES, AND PENALTIES OF ANY KIND WHATSOEVER, RESULTING FROM ANY FINDING THAT A SUBMITTED PHOTO VIOLATES ANY APPLICABLE LAWS.

No more than 1 entry per person/household will be accepted for each contest theme, and only one prize will be awarded to each immediate family/household. Ritz Camera Centers, Inc. specifically reserves the right to publish any photo entries in the RitzPix Facebook Photo Contest, either in print and/or on our website, as well as the right to use, publish, and/or disseminate any of your photos or portions thereof, in hard copy and/or in online publications, in any manner it desires, and you waive any claims of ownership or copyright protection with respect to the photos you submit. Neither Ritz Camera Centers, Inc. nor any of its affiliates are responsible for lost or misdirected entries or unreadable files.

Taxes on all prizes are the sole responsibility of the winners and each winner shall indemnify, defend, save and hold harmless Ritz Camera Centers, Inc., its parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, agents, and employees from and against any and all liability arising from or in connection to taxes owed on any prize.

Judging: Photographs will be judged on color and content. A picture from any type of camera can win. Judging will take place and winners will be announced within 30 days of the end of the contest. Winners will be notified by e-mail. Winning images will be posted online within 45 days of the contest end date. By entering this contest, you agree and understand that photography is subjective. Due to that subjectivity, winning entries will be determined at the sole and absolute discretion of Ritz Camera Centers, Inc. and the decisions pertaining to winning entries will be final and binding.

Eligibility: Employees of Ritz Camera, Wolf Camera Centers Inc., and either of their affiliates, and the immediate families of such employees, are not eligible. This contest is void where prohibited by law. No purchase necessary to win. Winners must be 18 year or older. Contest is only eligible for residents living within the 50 United States.

Ritz Camera Centers, Inc. will report any perceived violations of law to applicable law enforcement authorities. Ritz Camera Centers, Inc. reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to refuse to include any materials deemed objectionable by Ritz Camera Centers Inc. and Ritz Camera Centers, Inc. shall not be required to provide an explanation to you of the reasons for rejection of such materials.
